This blue-skinned Merlot from Calaveras County has an elegant balance of acid and tannins from the new French oak barrels.  Aged 24 months.  Aromas of cranberry.  Hints of vanilla from barrel aging.  Flavors of dried cherries and plum. Medium tannins.  Easy to drink.  Pair with stuffed mushrooms.
