Fruit from Duarte’s Georgetown Vineyard in El Dorado County.  50% new French Oak barrels.  Dark red in color.  Aromas of rich plum.  Flavors of cherries, plum and leather leading into hints of cedar.  Full mouthfeel.  Long finish with good tannins.  This wine will only improve with age.  Pair with a herb-crusted prime rib.
