Fruit from Dalton Vineyards in Calaveras County.  8 months French oak, 30% new.  Aromas of oak and stone fruit.  Flavors of peach and apricot with subtle oak tones.  If you’re not a fan of a big Chardonnay, try this Viognier.  Less oak and more fruit.  This barrel aged white pairs well with a cheeseboard on Superbowl Sunday.
