Our Beckman Zinfandel comes from a vineyard in Mountain Ranch.  This is where Matt Hatcher “cut his teeth” in grape farming.  These grapes were in the first batch of wine he produced in his garage in Modesto, California.  Aromas of raspberries and cedar.  Medium color.  Medium body.  American oak adds tannins and vanilla notes.  Black cherry, plum, cedar on the finish.  Thank you, Al Beckman, for planting this vineyard all those years ago.
