Fruit from Metate Hill in Bar 20, just west of Angels Camp.  24 months American oak, 30% new.  Aromas of red fruit and mixed berries.  Flavors of tart cherry, coffee, vanilla and nutmeg.  Classic “dusty” Tempranillo tannins frame this wine beautifully.  Perfect with tapas or Estofados (Spanish stew).  ALC 13.9%  750ml
