Fruit from Metate Hill Vineyard, located west of Angels Camp.  Aged 30 months in American Oak.  Aromas of Earth and black cherry.  Flavors of plum, pomegranate and black cherry.  Long finish with hints of chocolate.  Well balanced with acidity and mature tannins.  Tapas anyone?
